This Cavity Plug from TE is of 9.7 mm long and 3.0 mm wide and is used to seal unused connector cavities. The plug and corresponding receptacle incorporate pre-assembled secondary locks to ensure complete contact insertion and a secure fit. If the contacts are incorrectly inserted into the connector housing the secondary lock will not close.
