AMPS Center Polarized Mod IV Wire-Applied Housing is made with flame retardant black thermoplastic and terminates 32-20 AWG discrete wire. The contacts have insulation support and AMPS housings accept a variety of receptacle and pin contacts. Reliable matings are ensured via a dual cantilever contact beam with a built-in anti-overstress feature and the contacts within the Wire-Applied Housing carry a current rating of 3 amperes.
