Japanese start-up Donut Robotics has developed a facemask that can amplify your voice and transcribe your speech into 8 different languages, Electronics Weekly reported.

Shades of Star Trek translator and communicator buttons, this "smart mask" should prove popular as masks become more of a staple tool in fighting the covid virus and maintaining general health.

The mask goes over your current face mask and will cost between $40 and $50. The transcription of your voice goes through an app and from there can be translated into 8 languages.
