LIQUID LEVEL SENSORS visão geral

Standex-Meder liquid level sensors with integrated magnetic floats and cable terminals are used to detect low fluid levels or multiple fluid points. Choose from vertical or horizontal mount options and a range of switching options. They are simple, dependable, versatile, and low cost. Easily customizable and simple to install, magnetic level sensors are low power devices that don’t require electronics, making them very appealing for most aplicações. Reed liquid level sensors are fast becoming the level sensing tecnologia of the future. What is driving this is its key reed sensor characteristics. They draw zero voltage and current – no power until they are energized. They can sit for years never drawing any power. This attribute alone allows them to be designed-in, in many aplicações where power is scarce. This includes many battery driven aplicações.

REED SENSORS & MAGNETS visão geral

Reed sensors when paired with permanent magnets present an ideal method of sensing and detecting movement, proximity, metal detection, and liquid level and flow measurement. Reed sensors open and close their reed switch contacts in the presence of a magnetic field. Typically a permanent magnet is the moving member in the magnetic system. This can be a piston, a float, a rotating disk, and much more. Check out our Magnetic Interaction animations which demonstrates how a reed sensor operates with a magnet used in various movements and positions, affecting the magnetic field array. Reed sensors come in hundreds of different sizes and shapes to meet a multitude of different application requirements. Reed Sensors are available in contact forms A, B, C, D, & E with power ratings up to 100W.  They do well in long operating life aplicações if switching relatively low voltages and currents with life expectancy up to 1 billion operations.

HALL EFFECT SENSORS visão geral

Standex Electronics Hall Effect Sensors offer solid state reliability, low power consumption, and consistent activation points over a wide temperature range in a rugged and environmentally isolated package. The hall effect sensor is a semiconductor device which is made using an integration process.  An electric current must be flowing into the device in order to carry out its function.  With current flowing, the hall sensor will interact with the presence of a magnet field producing a voltage. This voltage level, measured in milli-volts, is proportional to the relative strength of the magnetic field. The new range of Hall Effect Sensor produtos are available with a variety of custom options, including various outputs (switch, latch), high temperature options, as well as custom package designs.
