TE has improved the performance of the Corcom EJT Series IEC inlet filter for high frequency applications by extending the flange around the IEC320-C14 inlet to reduce the amount of radiated radio frequency (RF) through potential gaps around the installed filter.

TE’s EJT series provides superior EMI filter performance up to 1GHz, where typical EMI filters are designed to perform to only 30MHz. The superior performance of the EJT series comes from a unique circuit design and an internal construction technique to attenuate frequencies above 30MHz.
